I wanted a portfolio page that didn't look like everyone else's, instead opting for a design that highlights my love of art nouveau styling.

 

Specifications

I hand-coded this site in HTML5 and CSS3, using PHP. The main navigation links use an image map.

Typography

I used Burton's Nightmare for the main links and site title. Body type is set in Goudy, using @font-face, from fontspring.com.

Graphics

The 'muse' illustration was painted in Photoshop (more details). Linework for the frame was drawn using Illustrator. I added raster effects to the frame in Photoshop. See my design process for the look of this website here.
